And now, it's time for another thrilling episode of THE AMAZING
In our last episode, SPEDERMAN was being assailed by the Press for his firing of Frank Solich.
Upon hearing the news of the assault, SPEDERMAN just about fell out of his chair! He came out of his Super-Secret Lair, and headed over to Steve Sipple's office to ask him to stop all the bad press. Steve Sipple was undaunted by SPEDERMAN, and told him he would not stop. He asked SPEDERMAN to leave.
But SPEDERMAN refused, and with a little persuasion, finally convinced him to stop.
SPEDERMAN then headed towards Harvey Perlman's office.
But before he could make it to Harvey's office, he ran into Tom Osborne.
Tom let SPEDERMAN know how unhappy he was, and told him he was going to have a press conference about the fortress of solitude.
Tom then went and found Harvey Perlman.
Tom told Harvey what he had told SPEDERMAN, and then he had his press conference.
Tom let everyone know that he wasn't crazy about the idea of his name being on the fortress of solitude, but he didn't ask to have it removed. He suggested that SPEDERMAN find a corporate sponsor to help fund the fortress. He then said "I've listened to everybody. I've heard all sides of the story. And I just don't see anything that maybe we couldn't have sat down in one room, maybe 45 minutes to an hour, hashed it out and had it back on track."
After the press conference, SPEDERMAN issued a statement in which he said that he would do everything in his power to heal Huskerland.
Then Harvey Perlman talked with the press, and tried to reassure Huskerland that all was going according to plan.
SPEDERMAN then went to Bill Callahan's office, but Bill wasn't there. So he slipped a note under the door.
SPEDERMAN asked Bill in his note to go out among the people, and try to gin up support for the fortress of solitude.
So Callahan went forth among the people, and with his camera friendly ways, he tried to repair SPEDERMAN's image.
Will Bill Callahan be able to save SPEDERMAN's image? Will Tom Osborne pull his name from the fortress of solitude? Will SPEDERMAN's and Harv's lips quit bleeding?
