SILENT AUCTION ITEMS NEEDED

Because our SILENT AUCTION has been such a success at previous festivals, we have decided to hold one again this year, with profits going to the winning theatre(s) to help offset their expenses at the Regional Festival.  Therefore, we are once again soliciting your help in donating items to be auctioned.  We are asking our member Theatres,  and/or individual members, to consider donating something.  It doesn’t even necessarily need to be a  theatre-related item.  Suggested donations might include costumes, small props/set pieces, scripts, soundtracks, etc.   When it comes to items which aren’t theatre-related – who knows what you might have sitting around the house that someone else would just love to have.  Anything from jewelry, books and CDs to vases, paintings, or even baskets of homemade goodies.  We would appreciate anything !

The silent auction items will be displayed at the Festival site, the Neville Center for the Performing Arts in North Platte. Bids will begin on Friday evening just prior to the social, and will remain open throughout Friday evening and all day Saturday.  Bids will close on Saturday evening, just prior to the social,  and winners announced  either Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

We will need to have all auction items delivered to the Neville Center in North Platte by FRIDAY, JULY 25th AT 7:00 P.M.   If you plan to attend the Festival but cannot arrive by 7:00 p.m. on Friday, you could send them in advance to either the North Platte Community Playhouse (P.O. Box 1045, North Platte, NE  68959), or to my home address (Suzan DeCamp, 324 Kelly St., St. Paul, NE  68873).  If the item cannot be sent via mail, please contact me and we will make some other arrangements.
